Fans of Youngstown State University football will remember Saturday, September 6, 2014, as the day the Penguins chalked a 34-23 win over Duquesne and junior quarterback Dante Nania passed for a career-high 288 yards with two touchdowns. CIS Office Installers, the FSN member based in Pittsburgh, will remember it as their drop-dead completion date for installing 2,000 new seats in the alumni section at YSU's Stambaugh Stadium. With the job done on time and within budget, the CIS team had their own special victory celebration. Scope of Work The CIS client, the St. Louis-based distributor Indoff Incorporated, engaged CIS Office Installers to remove the 2,000 existing seats from the mid-field alumni section of the stadium, patch the anchor holes, and install 2,000 new custom seats to be supplied by American Seating. The project was on a 4-week time line. The requirements were well within the capabilities of CIS, which has been certified in auditorium seating installation for many years ...

The fit out of AIG's regional center in Phoenix, Arizona, was Manning Group's first opportunity to showcase its considerable expertise in architectural wall installation for a long-time client dealer in New York. Despite sudden changes in scheduling and manpower requirements, Manning Group moved the project along so smoothly toward an on-time completion that the dealer's installation overseer was able to leave the job site earlier than expected. Manning had numerous furniture installations for Empire Office to its credit but, as yet, no history of architectural wall ...

The ability to meet an exceptionally wide range of client requirements is an important differentiator for Environments Plus, Inc. (EPI), one of two Facilities Services Network members operating in Southern California. EPI showcased this ability recently for an independent licensee and distributor of entertainment content and programming in North America, the United Kingdom and Australia. The client company was consolidating and relocating its West Coast office to a corporate park in Woodland Hills, California. Their new space was undergoing a comprehensive tenant improvement. They would be starting out with virtually all new furniture, most of it consisting of Friant lines. Project Overview At the client’s request, Environments Plus, which is headquartered in San Fernando, California, assigned a space planner/designer to work on the development of the project plan with an interior design-oriented member of the client’s staff. The furniture sale was handled by a manufacturer’s rep. ...
