Special Features of Our Service

Trust us to make your job easier.

We maintain the largest and most capable field staff in New England and hold our field personnel to exceptionally high standards for workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

We invest regularly in information and communication technology to optimize operational efficiency, productivity, and customer service. Every Colonial foreman is equipped with an iPhone, an iPad and a laptop computer with Access to PlanGrid.

Our logistical capabilities, which are unmatched in the region, include a modern 150,000-SF warehouse, the leading cloud-based software application for enterprise asset management (SnapTracker), and the largest truck fleet for furniture services in New England.

We operate a well-documented, multifaceted safety program and maintain registrations with both ISN and ConstructSecure. All members of our field staff complete the certification requirements for the OSHA 30-hour Construction Training Course, Scaffold and Ladder Safety Training, and Basic First Aid and CPR Training.

We demonstrate corporate environmental responsibility in ways large and small, from daily recycling of project waste—224 tons of solid waste diverted from landfill in 2017—to facility features, material-handling equipment, and vehicle purchases that reduce fuel consumption and packaging requirements, to modern energy conservation features in our warehouse.

We follow best practices developed through both our in-house process improvement activities and our active participation in Facilities Services Network.
