Colonial Systems, our union-labor member in the New England market, produced a very good write-up of their nearly 5-month-long installation project that was part of the fit out for Brown Brothers Harriman’s new Boston office. In brief: Brown Brothers engaged Colonial Systems to receive and install the systems, case goods, seating, filing and ancillary product sets for the furnishing of approximately 1,600 workstations, 120 private offices and numerous conference rooms and other spaces over 12 floors totaling 410,000 square feet. The scope included lobby, lounge, reception and other public spaces as well as kitchens and break rooms. The vast majority of product was received on site.
